Valentine’s Day 2011: Same Same but Different

  1. I don’t know how I found this blog but so glad (again.) Loved the restaurant decor, your eye for detail (floral print on chair) and fashion mentions. And then the food – oh yeah, I’m gonna be making us some dirty mashed potatoes this evening. Though it’s Saturday, we have work to do and taxes so comfort food, delicious comfort food will be de rigueur.
Glad you had such a lovely and certainly well deserved Valentine’s Day!

    1. What really keeps me blogging is getting comments like yours, where it’s apparent that you read through the whole thing. It’s a gem to treasure! Thank you very much, I’m glad you stumbled upon my blog. So how was the dirty mashed potatoes you cooked last night? It’s honestly the first time I encountered that term, so I found it blog-worthy. Usually I just eat mashed potatoes but not “dirty mashed potatoes.” Call me crazy, but it’s actually the reason why I ordered it (coming from a rice-eating country, I don’t know much about potato linggo).

I subscribed to your blog. You write so beautifully and gracefully. I see a lot of commonalities with regard to soup (I’m a soup person!), fashion, food, and the like. Can’t wait to read more from you! 🙂 Have a relaxing Sunday.
